House of Rohl® Brings Hollywood Glamour to New “Life Well Crafted” Campaign
This year at IDS Toronto, House of Rohl®, a portfolio of luxury plumbing brands, will bring to life the intersection between exquisite design and personal wellbeing as many put a greater emphasis on how their body and mind are equally impacted by their surroundings. The newest offerings from House of Rohl are designed to bring the two into balance by creating a personalized relaxing or invigorating space for homeowners through innovative products that enable whole-home styling and inspire a life well-crafted.
“The new normal context has influenced the way we live in our homes. We require more flexibility and personalized solutions that represent who we are and adapt to what we need,’’ says Eveline Simard, Principal Industrial Designer Luxury Products at House of Rohl. “In particular, the bathroom boundaries have shifted to allow the space to go beyond sanitary needs; it has transformed into a personal safe space where wellness and wellbeing are at the center of the immersive experience customers are seeking for their balanced lifestyle. House of Rohl embodies this global perspective through its exquisite product offering. Our portfolio of five global luxury brands helps you create our luxury home on your own terms.”
In partnership with Wallpaper*, Victoria + Albert reinforces its brand leadership in the space with the launch of three new colour palettes for 2022. These new palettes, aptly described as Bathitecture, deliver on the consumer desire for personalization and can be applied to Victoria + Albert tubs and sinks and provide design inspiration for aspects of the bathroom, such as wall colours, cabinetry and décor. Influenced by architectural styles of the 20th century, the palettes represent distinct worlds of design: Belgian Minimalism, composed of calm, soft colours, like light blues, pastels and slate greys, reflects simplicity and serenity; Brazilian Modernism, a rich, earth-tone palette with deep reds, greens and blues, is reminiscent of South American architecture; and American Postmodernism, a spectrum of industrial shades with pops of colour, makes a statement.
Reflecting on the nostalgia of days past, the heritage revival-style trend of mixing old with new, ROHL® introduces an exclusive sneak peek of its Apothecary™ Collection for the bath. Taking inspiration from angular antique bottles that once held potent elixirs and are now sought-after collectables, Apothecary transforms vintage design into a silhouette of contoured elegance and nuanced simplicity for homeowners who seek the rare, elusive and uncommon. The collection is comprised of faucets, tub fillers, accessories and shower solutions in a number of finishes for an eclectic yet elegant bathroom.
The new Riobel® Ode™ bath Collection explores the concept of fluidity through a balance between an uninterrupted profile and an elegant transition between a circular base and a square spout. This transition creates a unique geometry. Anchored in a soft-modern trend, this unique profile is showcased thoughtout the whole collection for a coherent and balanced interior. The angled handle enhances the ergonomics and helps to maintain optimal cleanability. Form mirrors function, as each element has a purpose to enhance performance as well as elegance.
The ROHL® Tenerife™ Collection captures the natural beauty of an island in a physical form with embossing that echoes the intricate patterns found on palm tree trunks. Inclusive of a complete bath and kitchen collection, Tenerife’s fine crosshatching adorns the handles and base, mirrors the lush diamond shape on the palm’s trunk and circular accents on the spout complement the striking effect.
As the heart of the home, the kitchen is an integral space for holistic wellbeing. The intersection between dining and home entertainment creates the need for multi-purpose functionality unlike any other room in the home.
“Homeowners continue to look forward to elevated home experiences and require spaces that can be used in multiple ways and can be adapted to their lifestyle,” said Simard. “The kitchen is a popular gathering area for family and friends, and the newest House of Rohl kitchen collections allow consumers to update this space in a way that’s fitting for both guest entertaining and more intimate family occasions.”
There is no longer a need to compromise design for functionality. The House of Rohl® touchless technology allows you to turn water on and off with the motion of your hand. Touchless activation minimizes cross-contamination, improving the overall wellness of the kitchen. In addition, the peripheral position of the sensor minimizes false starts and optimizes water usage. The new touchless technology is now also available in the Riobel’s beautiful Trattoria™ & Azure™ collections, complementing Perrin & Rowe’s existing offering of touchless faucets. These include the traditional Georgian Era™, transitional Armstrong™, and modern Holborn™ Pull Down Kitchen Faucet Collections.
From country cottages to modern farmhouses to contemporary lofts: whatever your design vision, there's a timeless beauty that a Shaws kitchen sink adds to the most intimate of spaces. The Gallery™ by Shaws® provides beautiful design options for Shaker and Lancaster apron-front sinks that will enhance kitchen decor of all kinds. Imagery is fired into the sinks in specially-designed kilns and glazed to smooth perfection. The fireclay sink is embellished with graphic elements, from blooming natural flora to organic lines with the abstract symmetry of modern art, and patinas and metallics that impart a unique character to each. All are statement-making styles that give kitchens a fresh perspective. With functionality and home entertainment in mind, ROHL® is launching two new multi-purpose, professional-style Culinario™ sinks for those who love to experiment in the kitchen. This thick-gauge sink elevates customization and functionality to a new level with interchangeable kitchen tools, including a colander, a drying rack and a chopping board to seamlessly combine cooking prep, cleaning and hosting tasks.
