ROHL: AUTHENTIC LUXURY FOR THE KITCHEN AND BATH.
A company whose mission for decades has been to discover exceptional, authentically luxurious products for the kitchen and bath - features products crafted in the towns and villages of Western Europe, New Zealand, and North America. Each has a story all its own.
Turin, the capital of the Piedmont region of Northern Italy, is Italy’s most important center for the Art Nouveau style and the inspiration for the ROHL Italian Bellia Series. Influenced by major 1902 exhibition of decorative arts, the city was chosen to host the event because it was modern and industrial in nature and long connected to prestigious automobile manufacturing. It’s here that the Palazzo Bellia is located -one of the area’s most beautiful buildings.
Named for Piazza del Campo in Sienna, Italy, the ROHL Italian Campo Series celebrates the famous systems of conduits that bring water to the area. The Campo handle and escutcheon design emulates the valve/stem combination used in the building of the industrial conduit systems. Made by northern Italian craftsmen, using materials and know-how passed down through generations.
In an exciting contrast to other ROHL collections emphasizing European style, this collection celebrates a glamorous age in American culture. "American Moderne" is a transitional style combining modern elements with those from the era when transatlantic ocean liners and transcontinental train travel were in their heyday, and Hollywood was in its prime. The Graceline Series, reflects Berman’s appreciation for streamlined design, featuring sleek lines and industrial details. Its name is inspired by the luxury ocean liners of the 20’s and 30’s, once considered the epitome of transatlantic travel. Graceline Series—the perfect blend of glam with industrial marvel!
With the advent of the 21st century came a yearning for professional fixtures and appliances in residential applications. The Lux Series offers a full range of pull-down faucets that replicate the look of a professional kitchen. Tall, sleek and sophisticated - each are statement makers.
The Palladian Series is inspired by Andrea Palladio, a 16th century Italian architect, creator of the Palladian window, and proponent of honest classical architecture. Blending the best of classic proportion with the flourish of great Italian fashion, this look is the answer to the renewed love of European colonial and Old World design updated with a transitional look.
