DESCRIPTION OF FINISH
Fireclay sinks are made of a unique clay capable of being fired at extremely high temperatures. These high temperatures cause the clay and glaze to fuse together, virtually creating an entirely new form. This clay is found in limited regions around the world, making true fireclay sinks some of the most durable sink options. Resistant to acid, alkali, scratches and impact, many fireclay sinks outlive the very spaces for which they were created.

Cleaning
Use a mild abrasive (Bon Ami®) and soft sponge or cloth. Daily cleaning with abrasives or pads will not harm the surface. Periodically waxing the sink will facilitate faster draining.
MAINTAINING
Astonish cleaner may be used should a mark or scuff need to be removed. While no coloured sink of any kind is impervious to damage, fireclay resists chips, scratches and stains better than other materials. In the rare instance of a chip, colour-matched repair kits are available through your local House of Rohl dealer.
Outside Use
ROHL® products may be used outside. However, we do not offer a warranty. Use these tips for a successful installation. Polished Chrome is the most durable of ROHL finishes and is the best finish for outside installations. Pat dry after use to avoid hard water spots. If minerals or salt are accumulating on the fixture, clean by applying a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar, then pat dry. Do not soak the fixture in the vinegar solution or allow the vinegar solution to soak on the finish. Spray weekly with fresh water, wipe dry and apply Flitz Wax or Bruno’s Faucet Wax to avoid hard water spotting. If in freezing temperatures, winterize fixtures by removing cartridges, drain all water or store fixtures indoors.
